Nesvåghålo and Smellarglova can be explored on the same trip and is suitable for those who like a challenge and want to explore exciting and Instagram-friendly natural gems. You can choose from several set routes and experiences depending on your interests, whether you want historical or nature experiences.

Festivals and cultural experiences
Egersund is known for its festivals that are organised throughout the year. People from all over the country come to enjoy the most famous festivals. Welcome to Oktoberfest, which is held for two weekends every autumn, and the Christmas Village in Egersund, which is always held over two long weekends in December. In the summer, the Dalane Bluesfestival and the Visefestivalen in particular attract many visitors to the town.
A beautiful start to Kystpilegrimsleia
The first part of the pilgrimage trail Kystpilegrimsleia is a land-based section starting at the church in Egersund. You can walk from Egersund to Stavanger - this stretch consists of roughly 100km and can be done over five days. It is possible to combine your walk with travel by train, bus or bike. Egersund Seafood Festival
Organised for the first time in February 2024, the festival is a festival for anyone interested in good food and drink. Egersund is one of Norway's largest fishing harbours, and the festival is held in winter when the seafood is at its best.
