Grand Hotell Egersund is the ideal venue for all types of events, from courses and conferences to company parties, Christmas parties and anniversaries. With more than 30 years of experience in organising events, our solution-oriented and quality-conscious team ensures close follow-up from start to finish.
Konsulatet
Konsulatet is a bright, spacious and inviting room with large windows that let the daylight in. We set the table with white tablecloths, candles and flowers. It also has its own bar, and the unique thing about the room is that it can be divided into different zones and rooms because it has movable lightweight walls when needed.
Eigra wine cellar
In the Eigra wine cellar, you can enjoy a full evening with 12 dishes, carefully selected by the chef, with accompanying wine for each course. In this exclusive wine cellar, we have our own kitchen with 20 seats and up to 4,000 bottles of wine. On Fridays and Saturdays, you can book a table in the wine cellar on request.
Grand Scene
The dark and intimate room has a new-fangled wall with wooden pillars and is just as suitable for a wedding or party as the annual Christmas show that is usually held here. The venue is also ideal for conferences. Grand Scene is located downstairs, and there is also a separate entrance from street level where a red carpet is rolled out for events.
Losen
Losen is located on the ground floor of the Seglem building, one of the three buildings that were integrated into the Grand Hotel in 2013. It's a quiet part of the hotel, a short distance from reception, and the room has AV equipment and room for 18 people around the table. The space truly reflects the hotel's use of reuse and redesign, and is full of exciting antiques from the rich history of the city and the building. The layout is fixed with a large table made from timber from the old walls, as well as a spacious lounge and mingle area. The venue is suitable for both aperitifs and dinners for smaller groups who want a separate area to themselves.
Ankersalen
Ankersalen is just the right size for a medium-sized event, whether you're using the room for a confirmation, an anniversary or a meeting. The inviting surroundings mean that it is neither impersonal nor too big.
Ankersalen, located in the hotel's new building facing Storgata, can accommodate 32 people.
Little Eigra
For special occasions, «Lille Eigra» can also be a good fit. This is a chambre separé, inside Eigra Kitchen & Bar, where you can sit a little by yourself, but at the same time experience the great atmosphere in the restaurant. Get close to the chefs and enjoy a full evening of local produce and exciting flavours. Suitable for a maximum of 20 people.
Own wine and cocktail bar
We have expanded with a brand new wine and cocktail bar. Here you'll find an informal and relaxed atmosphere where the focus is on good service, good drinks and good conversation. Skilled bartenders are ready to warm you up with classics and exciting new products. Quality and good experiences are in focus. Feel free to use the bar as a gathering place before dinner.
Nordaas
Nordaas is a small meeting room located slightly away from the core of the hotel. This is essentially a meeting room, but is also suitable for aperitifs before dinner.
Large terrace
In the middle of all the hotel buildings, sheltered from the wind, is a small oasis of a terrace. Here you can enjoy a break, an aperitif or just good conversation in a cosy atmosphere. The terrace is easily accessible and is located upstairs from reception.
