The town is brimming with Christmas stalls and fun activities, and Grand Hotell usually organises its own Christmas shows to mark the occasion. Enjoy a Christmas stand-up with one of Norway's funniest comedians Rune Bjerga.

Grand Julebord - traditional Christmas food
Here you can enjoy hot Christmas food with ribs, pinnekjøtt, with traditional side dishes and an abundant dessert table. Available on Fridays and Saturdays in November and December. Served in the «Grand Christmas Restaurant» and for Christmas parties in our own function rooms. Must be booked in advance.

Get in touch and we'll find a great venue for your Christmas party. For large parties, we recommend Konsulatet or Grand Scene, where you get your own food service, your own bar and waiters, as well as opportunities for your own entertainment. For smaller parties, we offer Vinkjelleren, Ankersalen and Losen.
Christmas village
There will be a big Christmas tree as always, and Father Christmas and Mrs Claus will be there. A great Christmas atmosphere is guaranteed in the streets of Egersund.
