Fjord cruise Lysefjorden and Preikestolen

One of Norway's biggest tourist magnets is the Lysefjord and its jewel in the crown, Preikestolen. Every year, tourists flock to Preikestolen, and a total of 300,000 people make the steep hike up to see the spectacular view of the Lysefjord. We can offer a great 3-hour fjord cruise on the Lysefjord, with accommodation and dinner at Grand Hotell Egersund included.

We've made it easy for you and put together a mini holiday that includes:
- Dinner
- Accommodation
- Breakfast
- Tickets for fjord cruises

Day 1

The evening before the excursion, you check in at the historic Grand Hotel in Egersund. This evening, a 3-course dinner is served at Own kitchen & bar.

Day 2

You will travel to Stavanger city centre. Travelling time is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes by car along the beautiful Nordsjøvegen, a route along the sea. It is also possible to take the train from Egersund to Stavanger. The train journey takes 1 hour.

Departure with Rødne Fjordcruise at 10.00. The duration of the cruise is approximately 3 hours.

The boat trip starts from Stavanger city centre

Surrounded by spectacular natural phenomena such as Preikestolen, Kjerag Mountain, rugged landscapes and dramatic rock formations, you can enjoy a day on the fjord. The new, all-electric speedboat «Rygerelektra» - a modern catamaran - takes you easily and comfortably from the centre of Stavanger and the distinctive coastal landscape to a beautiful fjord landscape in one of Norway's most beautiful and wildest fjords.

What will you see?

The cruise takes place in the 42-kilometre-long Lysefjord on the brand new electric boat MS Rygerelektra. The tour stops at Phantom hole where the «phantoms» hid from the sheriff in the old days. You'll see Preikestolen, where Tom Cruise climbed the sheer rock face in the film Mission Impossible 6, before continuing to the mighty Pulpit Rock. Hengjanefossen where you risk getting a refreshing water shower on your face.
