Kortreist - EIGRA pays tribute to the farmer

Local food producers and farm shops will bring their best products and gather in Egersund town centre under Kortreist, to make it easy for everyone to get hold of local food.

On this day, you have every opportunity to eat the world's best local food - or go home with bags full of locally sourced food.

In this connection, we pay tribute to the farmer at EIGRA Kitchen so that you can have an unforgettable evening with a focus on local produce.

We will be visited by Kjetil Alvestad from Nyyyt, who is bringing the best cuts from Bue this day! He has worked as a chef since he was 16 years old, and with meat since he was 29. Before joining Nyyyt as a sales manager, product developer and chef, he worked as a product developer and food consultant at Holmens in Stavanger.

Emma Helmersson from Fondberg will also be joining us, a fantastic sommelier since 2015, who also has 15 years of experience from the restaurant industry! She has been with Fondberg since October 2024, and will be joining us to teach us about the evening's selected wines.
