Lanternen
LANTERNEN is a newly refurbished course and function room with the latest technical equipment and unique elements from the fishing village of Egersund. Sustainability and reuse are truly expressed on the way into this former bakery, where the old protected facade of the neighbouring house has been glazed and as much as possible of the old load-bearing walls and wooden structure has been preserved. Maritime details include a carpet made from recycled fishing nets, and the beautiful wooden wall has good soundproofing with the row of sea houses in Egersund as a motif.
Large romping space
The venue can cater for dinner for 60 people, and 50 people in a classroom setup for teaching, lectures and conferences.
There's also a bar at the back of the room, perfect for events where drinks are served and you don't want participants to leave the room.
