
On Saturday 16 September, local food producers and farm shops will be welcoming visitors to trade, taste and experience - throughout Rogaland. Here in the centre of Egersund, the following events are taking place SHORT TRIP Egersund, where you can discover new local food, get to know new producers, taste your way to new favourites, or make the autumn's big purchases of seasonal products In the evening, we run «KORTREISTaften» with a 6-course menu and a guest performance by and with chef and Egersund boy Håvard André Jostal Østebø.
Egersund boy Håvard André Jostal Østebø served his apprenticeship at Fish & Cow and Tango in Stavanger. He went on to Mondo in Sandnes, where he worked with Christian Andre Pettersen, and Fisketorget in Stavanger. He currently works as head chef at Spiseriet in Stavanger Concert Hall. Håvard has competition experience, including as Commis in Bocuse Dor 2018/2019. Håvard is very much looking forward to returning to his hometown to cook for a whole evening.
On the short trip evening, you'll get a 6-course tasting menu, snacks and petit fours at Eigra Kitchen & Bar. The menu will include meat from Nyyyt, Bogsdalen Farm and Veen Farm, fish from Fonn Egersund, ice cream from Il Gelato and coffee from Mocca Kaffebrenneri.
