Time travel has unfortunately been postponed 😉
Thank you for being tempted by the thought of travelling a hundred years back in time!
We have to admit it: Historical time travel is not currently on the menu - although it would be tempting to go back to a time without news alerts and full email inboxes.
But it wasn't entirely off the mark. Because even though you can't choose an exact era upon check-in (yet), there are many places among The Historic Hotels' members where you get the feeling of being somewhere else in history.
What can you actually experience?
You can sleep in buildings with several hundred years of history, eat dishes based on old recipes and local ingredients, be surrounded by interiors, traditions and hosts who care for history and experience a unique atmosphere that cannot be replicated. You will have to arrange costume, horse and cart yourself, however.
