Welcome to Egersund Seafood Festival,
6 - 8 February 2025.

Organised for the first time in February 2024, the festival is open to anyone with a passion for good food and drink. Egersund is one of Norway's largest fishing harbours, and the festival is held in winter when the seafood is at its very best. We promise unique flavour experiences with the best the sea has to offer and much more.

Together with our partners, we present a rich programme that includes a food and drink fair, lunch with delicacies from the sea and a Cidermakers dinner. There will be lectures with tastings of delicious seafood and good drinks in the form of wine, beer and cider.

Tasting Trail with seafood and drinks

Thursday 6 February 2025

We invite you to a tasting trail featuring exciting flavours of seafood and good drinks. Participants are divided into groups and move from place to place where they are served a seafood dish along with a matching drink.

Takeover event with Head Chef Mathew Leong from Re-Naa

Saturday 8 February 2025

Chef Mathew Leong, known from the three-star Michelin restaurant Re-Naa, will take over the kitchen at Eigra on Saturday 8 February. Chef Mathew is also Singapore's competitor in the Bocuse d'Or World Culinary Championships in Lyon on 26 and 27 January 2025.

Joining him on the team for Bocuse d'Or 2025 is our very own head chef, Sindre Hetland from Eigra. This evening, Chef Matthew Leong and the chefs at Eigra will serve an exclusive 8-course seafood menu including a wine package. We guarantee a memorable evening.

Welcome to Egersund Seafood Festival's food and drink fair 2025! The exhibition area is expanding and will extend over two floors. The fair is open to anyone interested in good food and drink. When you buy a ticket, you can wander from stand to stand and taste delicacies, wine, beer and cider from Egersund Seafood Festival's partners. Price kr. 495 per ticket, which includes tastings of delicacies, wine, beer and cider from Egersund Seafood Festival's partners.

Wine tasting with Weingut Tesch

Dr Martin Tesch is one of the most high-profile and best-reviewed German winemakers. The 300-year-old family-owned winery in Langenlonsheim on the Nahe River produces outstanding Riesling.
The single vineyard Karthäuser, vintage 2023, achieved 95 points with Robert Parker, among others.

Join us to taste Tesch's top quality white wines paired with Norwegian seafood. Dr Martin Tesch will host the tasting on Friday 7 February.

Experience an evening where local cider meets Norwegian seafood. Elodie and Jon from Eiane Gard in Ryfylke will visit us. The farm is renowned for its award-winning artisan ciders, made from apples from its own orchards. Eiane Gard combines traditional techniques with modern innovation to refine the apples into distinctive and flavoursome ciders. The evening offers a 6-course seafood dinner in Eigra kitchen & bar, where each dish is carefully matched with selected ciders from Eiane Gard.
