Organised for the first time in February 2024, the festival is open to anyone interested in good food and drink. Egersund is one of Norway's largest fishing harbours, and the festival is held in winter when the seafood is at its best. We promise unique flavour experiences with the best the sea has to offer and much more.

Together with our partners, we can present a rich programme including a food and drink fair, lunch with delicacies from the sea and a Winemakers dinner. There will be lectures with tastings of delicious seafood and good drinks in the form of wine, beer and cider.

Flavour train with
seafood and beverages

We invite you to join us on a taste train with exciting flavours of seafood and good drinks. Participants are divided into groups and go from place to place where they are served a seafood dish and a drink. Bring your colleagues or group of friends for an evening out!

There will be a small quiz at each location that the group solves together, with a prize for the winning group. Each group will stop at 7 locations. If you want to go together as a group, tickets must be purchased under a name. Otherwise, the groups are mixed by the organiser.

Meet Star winemaker Xavier Vignon from the Rhône, receiving top reviews from recognised wine reviewers such as Robert Parker and James Suckling. Welcome to Egersund Seafood Festival's food and drink fair 2026! The exhibition area is being expanded and will extend over two floors. The fair is open to anyone interested in good food and drink. By purchasing a ticket, you can wander from stand to stand and taste delicacies, wine, beer and cider from Egersund Seafood Festival's partners.

Nicolai Lundsgaard and Xavier Vignon will give us a night to remember. Joining them this evening are the chefs at Eigra. They will be serving an exclusive 8-course seafood menu including a wine package. We guarantee a memorable evening.

More information about the programme

Nicolai Lundsgaard is originally Danish, but has made Norway his home for many years. He is well known in these parts, having worked as a chef and head chef at some of Stavanger's recognised restaurants; Craig's Kitchen, Tango Bar & Kitchen. He now works at the Royal Palace, and is a permanent member of the Norwegian Barbecue Team.

In addition, this evening we will be visited byXavier Vignon, known as one of the star winemakers in the Rhône. In 2009, his Châteauneuf-du-Pape was voted Sweden's best - and since then a long line of top reviews has followed.
